"...a strangely enticing work of art" - Computer Music magazine

"With Magika Electronika, SpongeBrain have produced 14 masterful tracks which easily compare to anything the major labels are producing at the moment." - North Wales Chronicle

We've re-mastered tracks from College Girl Project, the collaboration between Skinflick and SpongeBrain.

Magika Electronika is the CD from SpongeBrain, the alter ego of Dada Beatnik- 14 tracks of unfamiliar and extraordinary takes on the familiar genres of modern music - twisted Two-Step, Acid Jazz, Ambient Drum 'n' Bass, Hip-hop drum loops magikally enhanced with Javanese Anklungs, Gamelans, Flugelhorns, Banshee Whirlers, Mellotrons and mutated electronika.

The album is now free to download.

SpongeBrain was commissioned in May 2002 to produce and record three live tracks for the BBC Radio 1 Session in the Nations slot on Thursday nights. They said "After hearing the excellent production skills on that, we decided to get him to do a session for us and he got his partner Sharon Perry and Sandy Britain to accompany him live."
